About Mini Miro
Kupu Māori: Miro - (noun) thread, strand, twisted cord, fibre, cotton.
He uri tēnei nō Ngāti Porou - I grew up in Tokomaru Bay on the beautiful East Coast, and are now based in Wellington.
Mini Miro started while I was hapū with our pōtiki Kruz. Shopping for pēpi clothes (as you do), I couldn’t find many Māori inspired options on the market, so I decided to put pencil to paper and design some for him.
Our goal is to provide options for Māori inspired clothing, so our pēpi are able to wear kākahu that reflect the beauty of our Māoritanga. We would love for our kākahu to be a conversation starter, to encourage the use of Te Reo Rangatira within each whānau, and kāinga.
I am very new to the clothing industry so I am always learning, whether it’s finding the right fabric, perfecting our designs, or growing in the day to day business. As I strive for perfection, I know there are always ways our pākihi can improve.

In an effort to minimise waste, we will sell any kākahu that didn't quite hit the mark for us in terms of quality. Most of these have the smallest issues, many being cosmetic so do not affect the functionality of the onesie.
This is a great opportunity to get your hands on our kākahu at a lower price.
It is important that you read the description of each product for specific details as to why it is on sale.
